Our Story

Team 2554, The WarHawks, is a team founded in Edison, NJ, with the objective of satisfying the engineering curiosity at JP Stevens High School. We focus on providing our team with a comfortable environment to foster teamwork and new ideas. As a result of this environment, we actively bounce ideas off one another, leading to our best work. Our team is organized into sub-teams, each focusing on one critical aspect of engineering. At the same time, we keep the process enjoyable for ourselves by constantly encouraging social interaction and collaboration; the hours upon hours we spend in the workshop fly by as we pursue our passion for engineering and robotics together. With our summer outreach programs, we’ve managed to develop a focus on bettering our community. Throughout the course of this challenge, we’ve maintained an organized, collaborative, and committed work ethic despite the limitations of the ongoing pandemic.
